Established in 1984, the International Cool Climate Wine Symposium brings a community of international scientists and industry professionals together to focus on issues surrounding the production of wine in cool climates.
These meetings have become key events for the international grape and wine industry, where front-line research and innovative techniques have been presented, many wines have been tasted and enduring friendships and research partnerships established.
The 10th annual ICCWS is taking place at Brock University, and follows all of the successful events that have taken place in various global cool climate wine regions, each drawing several hundred delegates from all of the world.
The ICCWS covers all aspects of cool climate winemaking, from vine to glass to consumer, and provides delegates with a platform to discuss the latest research, exchange information and network with other wine producers, and to taste some spectacular examples of the wines from the host country.
